This summer I had the wonderful opportunity to attend Jen Carver’s Alabama Alumni workshop.

I attended last years workshop in NYC and an incredible learning experience while meeting other amazing talented photographers from all over.

The workshop was located at the Dream Ranch Lodge in Guntersville, AL.

Approximately 20 photographers stayed at the ranch and we participated in a weekend long photo shoot of the most beautiful young female models.

Over the weekend we had different set themes and styled looks.

From dreamy floral shoots to Ralph Lauren country.

We also had the opportunity to photograph and submit for the upcoming Joyfolie Fall catalog.

I took HUNDREDS of photos, but these are the select few that I truly loved and edited.

The gorgeous Faye.

She became my muse for the weekend.

I LOVED photographing her.

Faye reminds me of Drew Barrymore with her messy curly hair and signature red lips.

This beautiful boat photo reminds me of John Waterhouse paintings.

Taylor High School Senior Portrait | Senior Photography |Macon Middle GA

Meet Taylor. She’s a stunning High School Senior from Perry High School.

Taylor is a Varsity Cheerleader and Gymnast.

She has served on the Homecoming court for the past 3 years and I have no doubt she will be nominated again this year.

She IS a beautiful brown-eyed girl!!!

For Taylor’s High School Senior Portrait shoot we traveled to the beautiful historic city of St.Augustine, FL.

It’s a city full of charm and scenic beauty.

We wanted to capture several look for Taylor’s Senior portrait and the Carousel was an absolute MUST!

Super Dreamy!!!!

Gorgeous girl!!

I love the colors in this series of photos.

The next “look” we photographed was in the middle of the street underneath a beautiful canopy of old oak tree’s dripping with Spanish moss.

Taylor looks like a model!

I love her gorgeous megawatt smile!

The last look of her Senior Portrait shoot was taken at the beach.

We were on the beach by 5:45 am to catch the sunrise!!

It was definitely dark, but I love the soft dusk morning light as the sun slowly started to rise.

Beautiful, calm and peaceful…

Taylor changed dresses and we went for a more fun playful look.

The sand dunes were another perfect spot to capture Taylor.

I had the BEST time photographing Taylor!

I’m finding that I REALLY love and enjoy photographing High School Seniors.

I have strong eye for styling and wardrobe so I enjoy helping the girls pick out the perfect clothes and jewelry.

I feel like every Senior portrait shoot should be “unique” and capture your true self.

I had the incredible opportunity a few weeks ago to photograph Fabulina Designs Summer 2014 look book.

Charline Shelby the Owner/Designer of Fabulina Designs creates the most beautiful and unique Boho Chic jewelry and statement pieces.

With the help of the BEST collaborative team we pulled together a beautiful shoot that showcases the jewelry perfectly!

We shot five different looks and scenes that shows the range of what the jewelry can be paired with for a set occasion.

I love Fabulina’s bracelets! You can stack and layer it. Gorgeous arm candy!

I really love this earthy Indian look Judi is wearing.

This edgy look is so fierce!

It compliments the summer lookbook so well.

Perfect to wear on a girls night out!

The whole team put in a long long day. When shooting commercial editorial work it truly takes a team to make it all happen.

I’m very proud with the results. The photos turned out beautiful and my client was OVERJOYED!!!

Family is the root of our lives and I had the incredible opportunity to capture the strong bond and love of the Farmer Family.

Husband and wife, daughter and sons…this family is bursting with love and tenderness.
